For a fact I actually tried plugging the ARGB pins of my case fans to the molex connectors of my PSU and guess what? It stopped lighting up even when the PC was completely shutdown, leaving me with my annoying motherboard RGB LEDs. I haven’t tested these out yet since I’m currently taking a break and might continue on fixing this “issue”, but I may have already found the solution if it’s one of those two solutions. (Which I very much hope is NOT the case.) I’ve already done my research regarding this and one of the main solutions were just to either boot up to BIOS, Advanced, Chipset Configuration, Turn on Onboard LED in S5 set to disabled, OR to get a new power supply or file a warranty claim as the power supply might be defective. It only goes off when I switch off the power supply.
Basically, the whole RGB stuff in my pc including my ARGB Fans and the RGB LEDs of my motherboard stay on even after shutdown. I had just setup my new gaming rig today and encountered a problem(?) with the RGB system of my ASRock B450M Steel Legend. TL DR: Is it normal to manually adjust the settings in BIOS to make the RGB and ARGB system of the motherboard only light up when the PC is powered on?
